Stalking Horse is hottest spot in town. Be prepared to wait in line on weekends if you don't get
there early. With a modern "New York" style, Stalking Horse is not like any other place in Federal Hill. This place has great food to match. I tried the Dimino Pasta, a salad, and the Seattle Slew pizza. It was worth
the wait. I think the house salad dressing is the best I have ever had! I will be back soon.

Judging from how packed Stalking Horse has been the past couple of weekends, it
may share one thing with Ropewalk: success. To a certain degree, Stalking Horse is getting the overflow from nearby Ryleigh's
(which has been exploding since reopening a little while back). Though smaller than most of its neighbors, Stalking Horse
is a hit in its own right. (Now Bigger and Better!!!!! Jan 08)

Checked
out the newly refinished and reopened Stalking Horse (26 E. Cross St.) last Friday night. It really surprised me. Not
only is the second story open but the first floor bar looks totally different. It looks like the McFauls, who run Stalking
Horse and nearby Taverns, put a ton of money into the place. ... There are
plush leather seats near the back of the second story and bathrooms with fancy granite floors and sinks (and those hand dryers I love). I was shocked.
Before the fire took Stalking Horse out of commission, it was developing a reputation as
a party spot with the post-college crowd. Once people discover the new Stalking Horse, that place is going to be slammed
on Friday and Saturday nights. Tonight is the grand opening party. Drinks are $2. Weird night for a grand opening,

The Federal Hill neighborhood of
Baltimore just got its coolest addition -- a bar with a music video jukebox! I know I'm not alone when I say I miss
when MTV actually played music videos, and this place more than gives me my fix.... Definitely a chill spot, and looking forward
to coming back!

I don't want to miss a thing. This place rocks Baltimore!
Arrowsmith, Jan. 2008
Stalking Horse returns with a new layout and chic second floor. It would
be nearly impossible to fit one more flat screen (over 30 flat Tvs) on the walls. Besides the electronic entertainment,
black, silver, and midnight blue dominate the decor. The second floor decor impresses, with leather couches, a lenghty
bar and posh light fixtures. With 16 beers on tap, including the Hoegaarden, Oliver's Red, and Stella Artois drafts,
and amazing smoothies including the Hurricane and Black Eyed Susan, the Stalking Horse could be the drinker's delight.
The drink selection (with over 40 vodkas) is topnotch and the service, though spread thin, is friendly.
